Cepra Speech
CEPRA is the Ecuadorian call for Projects in research, development and innovation (R + D + i), whose purpose is to finance research groups in the fields of Education, Humanities and Arts, Social Sciences, Business and Law Education, Engineering, Industry and Construction , and more. CEPRA funding supports the scientific and academic community of Ecuador by allowing the establishment of links between researchers of CEDIA member institutions. In total, 74 projects have been awarded since its first call in 2009, with the participation of 29 CEDIA member institutions, which has allowed the generation of 155 publications by participating researchers and in this way CEDIA contributes to the development scientist and academic from Ecuador.
CEPRA Speech is an activity where researchers involved in CEPRA projects present the results obtained from their research in a short video (5 – 8 minutes) in the elevator pitch style. Each video is accompanied by the presentation of scientific posters that summarize their research. The CEPRA Speech session ends with a discussion between researchers and attendees about their results, tech-transfer, and possible future research work. This activity joins researchers from various fields of study to share their experience and the results of their work in the CEPRA project. This event makes it possible to obtain new and interesting contacts and future inter-institutional collaborations in the field of research. For this edition, TICEC presents a new collection of CEPRA SPEECH videos with the participation of 20 CEPRA research teams from its fourteenth and fifteenth calls. Researchers from all over Ecuador will share their experience with professionals, students and attendees.
