Joseline Carias is a project consultant on issues related to digital transformation, a promoter of digital health and a networking activist. She is currently the General Manager of the Central American Network of Health Informatics - RECAINSA, a network of Latin American volunteers created with the intention of supporting national and regional digital health strategies and generating spaces for the exchange of experiences and good practices both in the public sector, as in private. She is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of DESISCOM, a company dedicated to the application of information technologies and digital transformation in social projects, primarily in the health sector. Currently, he is a professor and researcher in the Department of Informatics and Computer Science of the National Polytechnic School. He is also the director of the "Alan Turing" Artificial Vision and Intelligence Research Laboratory at the National Polytechnic School. He has led several research projects on the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He has more than 10 years of experience working in these areas. He is also a scientific disseminator and consultant in the area of artificial intelligence and has been the recipient of several awards for his outstanding research.
